Contrasting The Two Paths: Service‑to‑Others vs Service‑to‑Self
Introduction
In this essay we comb through the information available in The Law of One (Ra Material) and Oahspe texts to compare and contrast the Service-to-self and Service-to-others paths (abriviated as sts & sto). This comparison is meant to help us to judge if a church or organization such as the Catholic/Protestant/LDS/Islamic systems might actually be wolf’s in sheeps clothing lead by or teaching service-to-self or satanic teachings or paths which lead toward destruction. The final analysis revals that such is NOT the case except that each is a MIXED path with significant evil & selfish teachings injected into otherwise godly religions meant to point toward holiness and selflessness.
The final prognosis can be judged from the following points:
- Each major religion & god/leader has an imposter false god and heaven waiting to capture selfish adherents.
- Righteous (Service to Other) systems are not democracies! (they are free but counsel driven)
- We can judge a system by asking does it cap progression & does it encourage selfishness or unselfishness?
- Is the system built on conquest or an invitation to righteousness?
A side‑by‑side chart from the Law of One (Ra Material) and Oahspe, with every row tied to its passages.
The Law of One describes two ways of returning to the Creator. One is service to others, which radiates love and respects free will. The other is service to self, which gathers the energy of others to itself through control. Oahspe tells the same story in its own vocabulary: etherean and Orian Gods who deliver souls upward, against “self‑assuming” false Gods who build kingdoms of slaves. The tables below compare how the two paths think, organize and “help,” and how each one changes as it climbs the densities.
Does Orion host both paths? Not in either text. Ra’s “Orion group” is a negative empire, and its constellation complexes “rule the other members” (Ra 62.16). Oahspe’s “Orian” is always a high, faithful etherean region and rank. Ra itself says Oahspe came from the Confederation and that its names were “created for their vibrational characteristics” (Ra 14.28). The one echo: Oahspe’s spelling Orion appears only as the name of a false, name‑borrowing god (Oahspe 25/16.31; 28/45.10).

1. Characteristics of the two paths
| Characteristic | Service‑to‑Others (STO, “positive”) | Service‑to‑Self (STS, “negative”) | Key sources |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core motive | Love and service, seeing the Creator in the other‑self. | “An ever‑expanding use of the energies of others for manipulation to the benefit of the self with distortion towards power” (Ra 11.31). | Ra 11.31; 17.33; Oahspe 25/17.7 |
| Metaphysical claim | All is one, so serving others is serving the One. | Also claims unity: “the sincere belief of fourth‑density negative that to love self is to love all” (Ra 26.34). | Ra 7.17; 26.34 |
| Relationship to free will | Waits to be asked: the Confederation answers “the calling” (Ra 8.12). Preserves free will even in healing (“Tell no one,” Ra 73.13). | “Calls itself to conquest” (Ra 8.12). Its “entire hope… is to infringe upon free will without losing polarity” (Ra 69.9). It enslaves people “by their own free will” (Ra 11.18). | Ra 8.12; 11.18; 69.9; 73.13 |
| Structure / hierarchy | Harmonized council. Ra’s Council of Nine varies “in its members by means of balancing” and works by blending, “so that the Law of One prevails with ease” (Ra 7.9). In Oahspe, Gods rule for fixed terms and raise up successors (04/7.14–15). | A pecking order: “constant alignment and realignment… until convinced that each is in the proper placement for power structure” (Ra 38.14). “To the stronger go the greater shares of polarity” (Ra 62.17). | Ra 7.9; 38.14; 62.16–20; Oahspe 04/7.14–15 |
| Decision making | Consultation, then the wisest one gives the “highest light” (Oahspe 39/6.36–37; 21/24.12). The Council’s thinking can be reconsidered (Ra 7.9). | Command from the apex down. Telepathy is “used for the sake of those at the apex of the power structure” (Ra 38.14). | Ra 38.14; Oahspe 39/6.36–40 |
| How they “help” | Answering a call; teaching that leaves room (“spoke as through a veil so as to leave room for those not wishing to hear,” Ra 73.13). In Oahspe, delivering hells, nursing drujas, carrying harvests upward. | Information “with the orientation of service to self,” some of it technical (Ra 11.21). Rituals and exercises for advanced groups (Ra 12.13). Forming “the elite, the disciples,” and teaching “the rightness of the enslavement of other‑selves for their own good” (Ra 50.6). | Ra 11.21; 12.13; 50.6; 73.13 |
| Communication | Telepathy among willing, tuned channels. Thought‑forms that suggest mystery (Ra 7.12; 24.9). | Also telepathy (Ra 12.13; 20.30). With positive channels it lies: “the lying information of the crusaders” (Ra 12.15). It answers negative channels honestly, because “in this case” it does “not find it necessary to lie” (Ra 12.15). | Ra 12.13; 12.15; 20.30 |
| Fear vs love | “Hope, friendly feelings, and the awakening of a positive feeling of purposeful service to others” (Ra 53.17). | “If there is fear and doom, the contact was quite likely of a negative nature” (Ra 53.17). It turns positive messages into “messages of doom” (Ra 12.15; 24.16). It uses abduction‑style examination “as a means of terrifying” (Ra 53.14). | Ra 53.14; 53.17; 12.15 |
| View of others | Each other‑self is the Creator: “Ra is not elite” (Ra 64.8). | The elite and the un‑elite (Ra 7.14). At fifth density, Orion members “do not any longer perceive any virtue in other‑selves” (Ra 48.6). | Ra 7.14; 48.6; 64.8 |
| Harvest requirement (3rd→4th) | More than 50% service to others: “fifty‑one percent dedication to the welfare of other‑selves” (Ra 17.33; 17.31, confirming Oahspe). Oahspe: those above grade 50 rise “perpetual ever after” (25/30.9). | 95% service to self: “It must approach totality… requires great dedication” (Ra 17.32). | Ra 17.31–33; Oahspe 25/30.9 |
| Harvest (4th→5th) | Intention “will harmoniously approach 98%”. The criterion is understanding, measured by light (Ra 47.6). | The same light criterion. About 8% of fifth‑density graduates are negative (Ra 47.5). | Ra 47.5–6 |
| Energy centers | The “full spectrum” of centers, including green (heart) and blue (communication) (Ra 47.3). | “Extremely efficient use of red and yellow/orange, moving directly to the gateway indigo.” Blue is “missing from the negatively oriented system of power” (Ra 47.3–4; 38.14). | Ra 38.14; 47.3–4 |
| Cohesion | It strengthens over time: “service to others results in service to self, thus preserving and further harmonizing” (Ra 7.15). | “Spiritual entropy causes them to experience constant disintegration of their social memory complexes.” Their numbers are “perhaps one‑tenth ours” (Ra 7.15). In Oahspe the false Gods wage “a triangular war” against each other (25/53.3). | Ra 7.15; Oahspe 25/53.3 |
| How followers are treated | Freed and sent upward. Oahspe: “no man shall serve another except for love, which shall be his only recompense” (25/17.7). The God should urge his people “not to idolize him… not slaves to their God, but independent beings” (25/14.27). | As slaves: “fourth‑density entities are willing slaves of such a fifth‑density entity” (Ra 87.7). Oahspe’s false Gods hold billions of “angel slaves” (25/43.1). Some slaves stood “laboring at one thing for more than a hundred years… being threatened with hell” (25/31.2). | Ra 87.7; Oahspe 25/14.27; 25/17.6–7; 25/31.2 |
| Where souls go | Released upward and away. Harvests are carried to etherea (04/7.16–17). | Kept in the kingdom. Oahspe’s rebels complain that bright angels “fly off to remote worlds” and want them kept at home (25/8.43–45). They “station armies of soldiers to prevent My newborn from coming to My most glorious kingdoms” (25/17.6). | Oahspe 04/7.16–18; 25/8.43–45; 25/17.6 |
| Posture toward the opposite polarity | Sends love and light even to attackers. That depolarizes the negative entity, which “would not consider your service as such” (Ra 67.26). Oahspe’s ethereans redeem and re‑employ former enemies (26/15.5; 29/16.5–7). | Seeks to remove the light: “the fifth‑density entity then thinks in terms of the removal of light” (Ra 62.20). | Ra 62.20; 67.26; Oahspe 29/16.5–7 |
| Signs in religious institutions | Offers “a pure path to the One Creator which is seen by the pure seeker” (Ra 60.18). Leaders are servants (Matt 20:26–27; D&C 121:41). | Elitism, holy war (Ra 18.25), “many strictures upon behavior” and promises of worldly power (Ra 17.17). “Thou shalt not” (Ra 16.20). A priestly elite “designed… by negative entities” (Ra 60.17). The temptation toward “aggrandizement of self or of social organizations with which the self identifies” (Ra 67.7). | Ra 16.15–20; 17.17; 18.25; 60.17–18; 67.7 |
| Names and titles | No names in the Council: “the name concept is not part of the Council” (Ra 7.9). Oahspe’s Fragapatti visited a kingdom without revealing who he was (20/23.1–2). | Flattering, borrowed, loud names: “they choose any name that will be flattering to mortals” (Oahspe 28/45.11). “If a prophet foolishly boasts… some high‑raised angel, with a loud‑sounding name… that prophet is in the hands of drujas” (32/25.11). | Ra 7.9; Oahspe 20/23.1; 28/45.11; 32/25.11 |
| Martyrdom and force | Jesus told friends “to put away the sword” (Ra 33.11). Oahspe’s ethereans “come unarmed” (18/3.8). | War, holy war, force. Deyus orders the deaths of all who worship Jehovah (25/16.21). | Ra 18.25; 33.11; Oahspe 18/3.8; 25/16.21 |
2. How each path changes, density by density
| Density | Positive (STO) | Negative (STS) | Sources |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3rd: choice | The choice is made, usually before it becomes conscious (“far along the chosen path before realization,” Ra 19.16). Harvest needs >50% STO (Ra 17.31–33). Oahspe gives the same line at grade 50 (25/30.9). | Needs 95% STS (Ra 17.32). Sexual or ritual “bidding” can trap even an Orion entity (Ra 55.4–6). Between the two paths lies “the sinkhole of indifference” (Ra 17.33). | Ra 17.31–33; 19.16–19; 55.4–6 |
| 4th: love / understanding | A harmonizing social memory complex that “goes forth to aid those of less positive orientation which seek their aid” (Ra 48.6). Compassion is so strong that the impulse to protect loved ones “persists through the fourth density” (Ra 33.11). | Violent pecking order: “The early fourth density is one of the most intensive struggle. When the order of authority has been established and all have fought until convinced that each is in the proper placement for power structure, the social memory complex begins” (Ra 38.14). “Much work is accomplished during the fighting for position” (Ra 48.6). Crusaders “may plunder as they will” once through the quarantine windows (Ra 26.34). Most still use the “slingshot” for travel (Ra 52.5). Fourth‑density minions do the tempting: they pull targets “toward the aggrandizement of self or of social organizations with which the self identifies” (Ra 67.7). They fight a “thought‑war” with fourth‑density Confederation (Ra 25.5–10). | Ra 25.10; 26.34; 33.11; 38.14; 48.6; 52.5; 67.7 |
| 5th: wisdom / light | Wisdom beings who often divide their service: “the beaming of light to creation; second, the sending of groups to be of aid as instruments of light” (Ra 48.6). Latwii is a fifth‑density positive complex (Ra 68.5). | Refined, solitary, subtle. “Ceased activity except by thought… extraordinarily compacted and separated from all else” (Ra 25.11). “The self has shrunk or compacted” (Ra 48.6). Power over others is “refined until it is approaching absolute power” (Ra 87.6). Their home is “the rock, the cave, the place of barrenness” (Ra 87.7). They lead fourth‑density beings and see “the creation as that which shall be put in order,” pursuing “the manipulation in exquisite propriety of all other‑selves” (Ra 62.20). They show “much less distortion towards plunder” and send lesser entities to do the work, while “any successes redound to the leaders” (Ra 62.20). They are beautiful and nearly undetectable: “very fair to look upon in your standard of beauty… the fifth‑density entity walks with light feet” (Ra 62.21). They are clever (Ra 69.9) and work with “the power of falsity” (Ra 80.8). They rarely wander “for they fear the forgetting” (Ra 48.6). | Ra 25.11; 48.6; 62.20–21; 68.5; 69.9; 80.8; 87.6–7 |
| 6th: unity (love + wisdom) | Unity of love and light. Late sixth density reaches the Oversoul or Higher Self function. “The positive/negative polarity is a thing which will, at the sixth level, simply become history” (Ra 47.5). | The switch: “after fifth‑density graduation wisdom is available but must be matched with an equal amount of love. This love/light is very, very difficult to achieve in unity when following the negative path.” Negative complexes “choose to release the potential and leap into the sixth‑density positive” (Ra 36.12). The sixth‑density negative entity “is extremely wise. It observes the spiritual entropy… realizing at some point that the Creator is not only self but other‑self as self… consciously chooses an instantaneous energy reorientation” (Ra 36.15). “As the sixth density approaches, the negative orientation is thrown into confusion” (Ra 52.5). No negative being has reached the Oversoul (Ra 36.12). | Ra 36.12–17; 47.5; 52.5 |

First I’ll answer the Orion question directly, with chapter-and-verse from both texts. Then you’ll get the full essay and a white-background chart page you can embed on WordPress.
No: neither text says Orion holds both service-to-self and service-to-others groups working on Earth.
- Law of One: I went through all 131 Orion passages in Ra and none mentions a positive Orion group. Ra treats “Orion” as a name for a negative empire; even service-to-self groups from other galaxies get “named by one” (Ra 62.16).
- Oahspe: “Orian” shows up about 95 times, always as a high, faithful heavenly region or rank, and never as self-serving. The twist is that the spelling “Orion” appears only twice, both times as a false god. One is a lieutenant of the false Lord God Deyus (25/16.31). The other is in a list of rebel gods using borrowed flattering names, “alias Orion, alias Aph” (28/45.10–11).
- My call: the shared name is a coincidence. Ra itself says Oahspe came through a Confederation (positive) group, and that names are chosen for their “vibrational characteristics” (Ra 14.28). Oahspe’s Orian Chiefs line up with Ra’s positive 5th–6th density beings. Oahspe’s real service-to-self counterpart is its false gods, who build slave hierarchies in Earth’s lower heavens. That’s closer to Ra’s negative inner planes than to Orion.
On your other questions:
- Orian Chiefs as disguised service-to-self beings: I don’t think so. They send souls upward and away instead of keeping them, serve fixed terms and then crown successors, refuse worship, and even rescue their enemies. The false gods do the reverse and try to stop souls from leaving.
- Hierarchy: hierarchy alone isn’t service-to-self; Ra calls all of creation hierarchical (Ra 28.13). The test is whether a hierarchy is built to end itself, moving people from servant to son to friend (John 15:15, Galatians 4:7). Control that stays permanent and pulls benefit upward is the other path.
- Priesthoods: Ra blames negative influence specifically for the Levites becoming a hereditary elite (Ra 60.17). It also says that power “became positive” for the pure in heart, and that every orthodox religion is mixed yet offers a pure path (Ra 60.18). So I’d say it comes down to how a priesthood is practiced, not its form.
- The late Kingdom chapters of Oahspe: clearly service-to-others, and only indirectly Orian. The Book of Es shows Orian Chiefs leading the era in which those chapters were given, but the chapters speak as Jehovah’s voice and as God, “your elder brother.”
Two of your premises the texts don’t support:
- The Jesus mystery: Ra 69.12 is about one unnamed wanderer pulled into negative realms (“There has been only one. We cannot, due to the Law of Confusion, discuss the entity”), not Jesus. Ra places Jesus in positive 5th density (Ra 17.21). The descent into hell fits better as light going down to preach (1 Peter 3:19, D&C 138) than as a switch in polarity. Ra says a strongly positive being in negative realms “will experience only darkness” (Ra 68.7).
- Democracy: Oahspe’s Faithist communities consult everyone, but they aren’t majority rule. It says “the highest wisdom… is not with the majority, but with a small minority.”

- I mark what the texts say as Textual, and my own reasoning as Inference or Judgment.
Part 1. The direct answer: does the Orion system host both STS and STO groups affecting Earth?
Short answer: no. Neither text says so. Ra’s “Orion group” is a negative empire named after a constellation. Oahspe’s “Orian” is a high, wholly positive etherean region and rank. The two share a name and nothing more. One real surprise did turn up: Oahspe twice uses the spelling “Orion” (with an o), and both times it is the name of a false, self‑serving god. That is a striking coincidence, but it is still a coincidence of names and not a hidden doctrine.
1.1 The Law of One
Textual.
- The Orion group is defined by conquest and enslavement: “Their purpose is conquest, unlike those of the Confederation who wait for the calling” (Ra 8.12), and their aim is “to enslave the un‑elite” (Ra 8.14; see also 16.17).
- Ra treats the name as a label and not as an address. Asked about Southern Cross, Ra says those groups “are members of the Orion group. It is not, shall we say, according to understood wording that a group from various galaxies should be named by one. However, those planetary social memory complexes of the so‑called Orion constellation have the upper hand and thus rule the other members. You must recall that in negative thinking there is always the pecking order” (Ra 62.16).
- The Confederation is described only in general terms: “approximately fifty‑three civilizations, comprising approximately five hundred planetary consciousness complexes… planetary entities within your solar system, and… planetary entities from other galaxies” (Ra 6.24). Ra never places a Confederation member in Orion. It also names almost no Confederation home locations at all.
- I searched all 131 passages that mention “Orion.” None of them describes a positive entity or group associated with Orion. Every one refers to the negative group, its “Crusaders,” its empire, or its attacks.
Judgment on Ra. The text cannot rule out positive beings living somewhere in the region of sky we call Orion, because Ra gives almost no geography for anyone. But it gives no sign of them either. Within Ra, “Orion” means the STS empire led by complexes from that constellation, and those leaders are negative (62.16). If anyone claims Ra teaches that Orion hosts both polarities, the claim does not come from Ra.
1.2 Oahspe
Textual. The word “Orian” appears roughly 95 times in the verses (98 hits counting glossary and caption text). It always refers to something exalted and faithful:
- A region: “Orian fields” in etherea along “the roadway of the travel of the great serpent” (the solar phalanx) (04/8.2; 05/16.2; 09/1.5).
- A rank in an ascending ladder: “The mortal desires to become a spirit; then his ambition is to become an etherean; next, an Orian; next, a Nirvanian; next, an Oetan” (20/17.8).
- An office: Orian Chiefs crown Gods and Lords (05/1.12–20). A “Holy Council of Orian Chiefs” appointed Sethantes over the earth (09/1.6). They receive the records of each harvest (04/8.2; 26/13.3–5). Many of the dispensational deliverers are called Orian Chiefs, including Aph, Sue, Apollo (“brevet Orian Chief”), Thor, Fragapatti, Lika and Litabakathrava (10/16.7; 12/1.1; 14/10.6; 16/1.1; 20/1.1; 28/9.10; 29/3.4).
- No Orian is ever shown as self‑serving. The fallen beings in Oahspe are atmospherean (lower‑heaven) Gods and Lords, such as Ctusk/Ahura (22/10.1), Anuhasaj/Deyus (25/8), and Osiris, Te‑in and Sudga (25/31–43). Angels brought from etherea to people the earth became “bound spirits of the lower heaven” through love of their mortal offspring (04/7.7) and “fallen from their high estate” (05/1.6), but no Orian Chief ever turns.
The one surprise (Textual). The spelling “Orion” appears exactly twice, and both times in the camp of the false gods:
- In the list of Gods that Deyus, “the false Lord God,” sent to subjugate the earth: “Anubi; Hikas, now called Te‑in; Wotchissij, now called Sudga; Che‑le‑mung, now called Osiris; Baal, Ashtaroth, Foe‑be, Hes‑loo, He‑loo, Orion, Hebe and Valish” (25/16.31).
- In Thoth’s complaint that rebel Gods “have taken upon themselves names popular with mortals… Thoa, alias Thor, alias Neptune, alias Orion, alias Aph…” (28/45.10). The next verse explains: “they choose any name that will be flattering to mortals” (28/45.11).
So in Oahspe a self‑serving “Orion” really exists, but as an impersonating rebel god of the lower heavens who borrows exalted names. Note that two of the borrowed names, Thor and Aph, belong to genuine Orian Chiefs. That is the reverse of a “both polarities in one star system” picture: the false gods steal the names of the true ones.
The Ra‑on‑Oahspe bridge (Textual). Ra was asked directly who transmitted Oahspe: “This was transmitted by one of Confederation social memory complex status… All names can be taken to be created for their vibrational characteristics. The information buried within has to do with a deeper understanding of love and light” (Ra 14.28). Ra also confirms Oahspe’s 50% threshold: “This is correct if the harvesting is to be for the positive fourth dimensional level” (Ra 17.31).
1.3 Judgment
- Different referents. Oahspe’s Orian is a grade of etherean heaven and the title of the beings who govern it. Ra’s Orion is a negative empire whose leading members come from a constellation. Both texts use the word, but they never point at the same thing.
- Ra’s own testimony settles the internal question. Ra says Oahspe came from the Confederation (14.28), so on Ra’s own terms Oahspe’s heroes cannot be Ra’s Orion Crusaders. Ra also says Oahspe’s names were chosen for their vibrational characteristics, which warns us not to treat “Orian” as an astronomical address.
- The naming echo is real but thin. Oahspe’s false “Orion” (25/16.31; 28/45.10) lines up with Ra’s warnings about negative entities who “ape positivity” (Ra 16.15) and lie to positive channels (Ra 12.15). That is a thematic rhyme between the books, not evidence that Oahspe secretly teaches a two‑polarity Orion.
- A mapping that fits both books (Inference):
- Oahspe’s ethereans, Orians and Nirvanians correspond roughly to Ra’s positive 5th and 6th density Confederation. They are wise, unified, serve by descending and teaching, and draw harvests upward.
- Oahspe’s atmospherean false Gods (Deyus, Osiris, Te‑in, Sudga) correspond less to Ra’s Orion social memory complexes and more to the negatively oriented beings of Earth’s own inner planes, which Ra says “are… available as inner teachers or guides and so‑called possessors” (Ra 12.14). Their behavior, though, is pure fourth‑density‑negative pecking order (see Part 2).
- The closest Oahspe has to a single concept of STS is “satan,” which it defines as the self: “Whoever professes any name except the Great Spirit, is of satan, which pertains to self” (18/9.10; compare “Satan (self) said to Anuhasaj,” 25/8.6).
Part 2. The tables
Table 1. Service‑to‑Others vs Service‑to‑Self: characteristics
Table 2. Density‑by‑density progression of the two paths
Can higher STS look benevolent or “bear gifts”? Ra never uses the phrase “bearing gifts,” but the substance is there. Textual:
- Negative sources copy positivity. The Ten Commandments came from “negative entities impressing information upon positively oriented mind/body/spirit complexes. The information attempted to copy or ape positivity while retaining negative characteristics” (Ra 16.15). Moses’ extreme positivity accounts for “some of the pseudo‑positive characteristics of the information received” (Ra 16.18).
- They lie to positive channels and feed them doom (Ra 12.15; 24.16).
- Their elitism comes framed as care: “the rightness of the enslavement of other‑selves for their own good… These other‑selves are conceived to be dependent upon the self and in need of the guidance and the wisdom of the self” (Ra 50.6).
- The fifth‑density negative is beautiful, light‑footed and has “much less distortion towards plunder” (Ra 62.20–21).
- An Orion entity tried to lure Carla out of her body “in the deluded belief that it was preparing for the Ra contact” (Ra 72.5). That is a negative entity riding the expectation of a positive contact.
- Ra’s own Wanderers once slid into the negative path by offering “a series of specific knowledges and wisdoms” to the elite‑minded (Ra 89.35). Sincere intent does not guarantee polarity.
Oahspe’s parallel (Textual): Anuhasaj “passed for the meekest and holiest of Gods” (25/8.21). He spoke “in Jehovahs name… for the love I bear for the souls of men and angels” (25/8.25) while planning a self‑glorifying kingdom. “Spirits will come disguised as your fathers and mothers who are dead, professing love and profit to you. Do not believe them, except when they teach you to sacrifice self for the good of others” (24/10.7).
Part 3. Lance’s questions, with judgment calls
(a) Could Oahspe’s Orian Chiefs be advanced STS beings that only look benevolent?
The case for suspicion. It deserves a fair hearing.
- Orian Chiefs sit at the top of a vast hierarchy. They receive census reports on mortals and angels so that “the Chiefs… may determine the requirements of the earth, and the nature in which her roadway shall be strewn with either light or darkness” (26/13.3). That is planetary management from above.
- There is pageantry: crowns, fire‑ships, trumpeters, millions of attendants (05/1.11–20; 10/16.7). Ra warns that fifth‑density negatives are beautiful and subtle (Ra 62.21) and that the cleverest negatives try to infringe “without losing polarity” (Ra 69.9).
- Oahspe’s own rebels make exactly this accusation: “are these Brides and Bridegrooms not hoodwinked by the tales of the etherean Gods? And by the parade and pageantry…?” (25/8.44).
The case against. It is much stronger, judged by Ra’s own diagnostic marks.
- Direction of flow. STS pulls energy upward and keeps it (“to the stronger go the greater shares,” Ra 62.17). The Orian system sends souls out and away. At the end of each term God and his Lords “gather together all those angels who have been prepared… for resurrection to My etherean kingdoms” (04/7.16), and ships carry them off (04/7.17). The false Gods are the ones who try to stop this export (25/8.43–45; 25/17.6). In Oahspe, preventing ascension is the mark of the rebels.
- Term limits and succession. “Never more than three thousand years” (04/7.14). Successors are “appointed and crowned in My name” (04/7.15). Fragapatti raises a successor and has the Orian Chief “weave a crown for him” (20/24.7). An STS apex does not plan its own departure.
- Who gets worshipped. The etherean Osire tells his messengers: “you shall not worship Osire, but only Jehovah, the Creator” (18/9.9). Ahura’s hard‑won lesson is that “the God should not only be the greatest in his kingdom, but the most menial servant of his people… urging his subjects not to idolize him” (25/14.27). STS entities do the opposite and demand worship of themselves (25/8.19; 25/14.21–22).
- Descent and humility. “Neither have I exalted any God so high, that he cannot labor in the most menial office without it also being his glory” (20/4.12). Fragapatti asks, “can an Orian Chief forget he was once a slave?” (20/4.13), and he visits incognito, “displaying neither lights nor curtains” (20/23.1–2). Ra’s fifth‑density negative, by contrast, has “ceased activity except by thought” and lives “compacted and separated” (Ra 25.11).
- The bar for harvest. The etherean harvest asks for self‑abnegation. Grade 50 is the line (25/30.9), which mirrors Ra’s 51% (Ra 17.31–33). An STS harvest needs 95% self‑service and recruits toward it (Ra 17.32; 62.15).
- Treatment of enemies. Ethereans deliver even the hells of the false Gods and Anuhasaj himself (26/11.11–13; 26/15.5). Former persecutors “returned as pure and exalted Gods and Goddesses” (29/16.5–7). STS seeks “the removal of light” (Ra 62.20). It does not rehabilitate rivals.
- No coercion. “My etherean hosts come unarmed” (18/3.8). “Even as I have given liberty to all My people, so shall you not impress… into your service your brothers and sisters” (25/17.6).
- Ra’s verdict on the source. Ra says Oahspe was transmitted by a Confederation social memory complex (Ra 14.28).
Verdict. On the evidence of both texts, no. The Orian Chiefs fail every STS test that Ra supplies: they release rather than harvest slaves, they serve terms, they refuse worship, they descend to menial labor, and they rehabilitate enemies. The one honest caveat is about epistemics and not the text: a perfect deception could imitate all of this. But Ra’s own teaching is that STS cannot keep up the imitation, because it lacks the green and blue centers (Ra 47.3–4) and suffers constant “spiritual entropy” (Ra 7.15). Over long periods it shows itself through fear, elitism and capture. Oahspe’s 24,000‑year narrative is a record of exactly that sorting. The pageantry is the weakest point, and Oahspe itself puts the critique of pageantry into the mouths of its villains (25/8.44). I read that as a deliberate warning to readers not to judge by spectacle, in either direction.
(b) A benevolent “crowned God” hierarchy vs totalitarian control
Textual anchors:
- Bible: “Henceforth I call you not servants… but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you” (John 15:15). “The heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant… But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father” (Gal 4:1–2). “Thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir” (Gal 4:7). “Whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant” (Matt 20:27). “Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock” (1 Pet 5:3).
- D&C: “No power or influence can or ought to be maintained by virtue of the priesthood, only by persuasion, by long‑suffering, by gentleness and meekness, and by love unfeigned” (D&C 121:41). When men “exercise control or dominion or compulsion upon the souls of the children of men… Amen to the priesthood” (121:37). The true dominion flows “without compulsory means” (121:46).
- Oahspe: God introduces himself as “your elder brother of tens of thousands of years experience” (32/1.2), and “I am your brother, risen from mortality” (33/1.2). The aim is that people “stand alone, and become, not slaves to their God, but independent beings” (25/14.27).
- Ra: the negative picture is the reverse. Followers “are conceived to be dependent upon the self” (Ra 50.6).
Principles for telling them apart:
| Test | Teaching (STO) hierarchy | Control (STS) hierarchy |
|---|---|---|
| Time | Temporary; term‑limited; plans succession (Oahspe 04/7.14–15) | Permanent; “forever” thrones (Oahspe 25/12.6 “servitude… forever”) |
| Goal for the led | Graduation: servant → son → friend → heir (Gal 4:1–7; John 15:15) | Perpetual dependence “for their own good” (Ra 50.6) |
| Flow of benefit | Downward and outward: leaders serve, wash feet (John 13:14) | Upward: “any successes redound to the leaders” (Ra 62.20) |
| Knowledge | Shared: “all things… I have made known unto you” (John 15:15) | Hoarded or secret: Deyus “told no one… his designs” (Oahspe 25/8.21) |
| Motivation used | Love, hope, invitation (Ra 53.17) | Fear, doom, threat of hell (Ra 53.17; Oahspe 25/31.2) |
| Free will | Called, not seized; “Tell no one” (Ra 73.13); persuasion only (D&C 121:41) | Seeks to “infringe upon free will without losing polarity” (Ra 69.9) |
| Worship | Points away from itself to the Creator (Oahspe 18/9.9; 25/14.27) | Claims to be the All Highest (Oahspe 25/8.19) |
| Accountability | Leader answers for the led (Oahspe 24/6.5; 39/6.40) | Led answer to the leader |
| Exit | Ascension and departure welcomed (Oahspe 04/7.16) | Exit blocked by “armies of soldiers” (Oahspe 25/17.6) |
| Titles | Few or no names (Ra 7.9); incognito service (Oahspe 20/23.1) | Grand, borrowed, flattering names (Oahspe 28/45.10–11) |
| Ambition | “To covet chieftainship would be selfish; to refuse chieftainship would be selfish” (Oahspe 39/7.23) | Ambition is the engine: “fighting for position” (Ra 48.6) |
| Rivals | Rescued and redeemed (Oahspe 29/16.5–7) | Removed or enslaved (Ra 62.20) |
Judgment. Hierarchy as such is not STS. Ra calls the whole creation hierarchical: “the foundations of the… hierarchical nature of beings begins to manifest” (Ra 28.13; see also 3.8, 41.4). The deciding question is whether the hierarchy plans its own obsolescence. A teaching hierarchy is measured by how quickly it makes its students equals. A control hierarchy is measured by how long it keeps them below. Oahspe’s crowned‑God system, with fixed terms, required successors, forbidden self‑worship and an exit ship at every harvest, is built as the first kind.
(c) Are hierarchical priesthoods (Levitical/Aaronic, Catholic, LDS) necessarily STS‑inspired?
What Ra actually says (Textual):
- Yahweh “was of the Confederation but was mistaken in its attempts to aid” (Ra 18.23). His genetic work produced a sense of being “elite or different and better than other‑selves” that the Orion group exploited (Ra 18.21–22; 24.6).
- The Orion group “had been able to impress upon the peoples the name Yahweh as the one responsible for this elitism” (Ra 24.6). Session 16 calls the entity sent 3,600 years ago “named by your peoples, Yahweh” (Ra 16.14), and session 24 clarifies that the name had been captured.
- The Ten Commandments: negative impression on an “extreme[ly] positive” Moses (Ra 16.15–18). “It would be unlike an entity fully aware of the knowledge of the Law of One to ever say ‘Thou shalt not'” (Ra 16.20).
- On the Levites specifically, the Ark arrangement “was designed, not by the one known to the Confederation as Yahweh, but rather was designed by negative entities preferring this method of creating an elite called the Sons of Levi” (Ra 60.17).
- But in the same passage Ra calls priests “those distorted towards the desire to serve their brothers” (Ra 60.17). It continues: “to those whose faith became that untarnished by unrighteousness or separation, this power designed for negativity became positive and is so… to this day… the positively oriented Moishe… gave to your planetary peoples the possibility of a path to the One Infinite Creator which is completely positive. This is in common with each of your orthodox religious systems which have all become somewhat mixed in orientation, yet offer a pure path to the One Creator which is seen by the pure seeker” (Ra 60.18).
- Ra recommends Catholic holy water and Carla’s own liturgy for protective work (Ra 96.14). It says church invocations would equal an adept’s “if all in your churches were adepts consciously full of will” (Ra 74.13). Carla’s discernment method was “questioning spirits in the name of Christ” (Ra 89.2).
- Ra’s warning about institutions: the normal tactic of negative entities is to tempt “toward the aggrandizement of self or of social organizations with which the self identifies” (Ra 67.7). Jesus was opposed by “those of the hierarchy [who] feared this entity” (Ra 75.14).
Judgment. No, not necessarily. Ra’s own word for every orthodox system is “mixed.” Ra singles out a specific negative design element: a hereditary elite set apart as superior (the “Sons of Levi” as caste), joined to legal strictures and promises of worldly power (Ra 17.17). It does not single out priesthood as service. The same Ark that negative entities designed “became positive” for the pure in heart. So polarity is set by practice, not by form. A priesthood moves toward STS when it:
- claims exclusive access to God rather than facilitating each person’s access,
- treats office as status or bloodline superiority rather than duty,
- governs by “thou shalt not” and fear rather than persuasion,
- puts the institution’s glory ahead of the person (“aggrandizement of… social organizations,” Ra 67.7),
- blocks people from leaving or growing past it.
For an LDS reader, the strongest internal standard is D&C 121:36–46, which describes priesthood power as something that evaporates the moment it is used for “control or dominion or compulsion” (121:37). By Ra’s criteria that is an STO charter. LDS practice can be measured against its own text, just as Ra measures Judaism and Catholicism against “the pure path… seen by the pure seeker.” Oahspe’s own priest‑rulers are hierarchical as well. The rabb “shall be the priest and ruler of the city; and the sins of the people of the city shall be upon his head” (24/6.2), and he must answer to his people “in the soul world” (24/6.5). Hierarchy carrying accountability downward is Oahspe’s model of a positive priesthood.
(d) The Jesus “descent into hell” question
What the Bible says (Textual): Christ was “put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient” (1 Pet 3:18–20). “For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead” (1 Pet 4:6). See also “he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth” (Eph 4:9). LDS scripture adds D&C 138: “unto the wicked he did not go… the Lord went not in person among the wicked and the disobedient… But behold, from among the righteous, he organized his forces and appointed messengers” (D&C 138:20, 29–30).
What Ra says about Jesus (Textual), in full:
- He was a fourth‑density Wanderer of Confederation origin, “of the highest sub‑octave of the vibration of love” (Ra 17.11–12).
- His early fatal anger at a playmate, and the resolve that followed it (Ra 17.19–20).
- He was karmically absolved through “Father, forgive them” (Ra 17.20).
- Orion attempts to discredit him built on Yahweh‑era legalism, and Judas tried to force him into earthly rule (Ra 17.16–17).
- He told his friends to put away the sword (Ra 33.11). He healed with “Tell no one” (Ra 73.13).
- His entry into Jerusalem was a turn to “martyrdom which is the work of love without wisdom” (Ra 75.14–15). His martyrdom was “understanding and compassion extended to its fullest perfection” (Ra 84.4).
- After death: “This entity studies now the lessons of the wisdom vibration, the fifth density” (Ra 17.21). He returns only “as a member of the Confederation occasionally speaking through a channel” (Ra 17.22).
Is there a Law of One passage about Jesus going into negative or lower inner planes under a “mystery” or the Law of Confusion? I searched all 106 sessions for Jesus, Jehoshua, Christ, hell, descent, underworld, lower astral, and every Law of Confusion passage. No such passage about Jesus exists. What does exist, and what I suspect Lance is remembering, is this:
- Carla nearly slipped into trance unprotected, and a fifth‑density Orion entity planned “to take the mind/body/spirit complex… to then place this mind/body/spirit complex within the negative portions of your time/space” (Ra 68.6). “A highly polarized positive mind/body/spirit complex surrounded by negative portions of space/time will experience only darkness, for like the magnet, there is no, shall we say, likeness. Thus a barrier is automatically formed” (Ra 68.7).
- Asked how many Wanderers this has happened to: “There has been only one. We cannot, due to the Law of Confusion, discuss the entity” (Ra 69.12). The way back is long: the entity must learn “the lessons of the love of self,” and “the choice of reversing polarities may be delayed until the mid‑sixth density,” though “the end result is well” (Ra 69.11).
So the “mystery protected by the Law of Confusion” is real, but it concerns one unnamed Wanderer displaced by a negative adept, by the mechanism of trance separation (Ra 68.6; 69.7). It is not about Jesus. Ra’s other statements argue against linking the two: Jesus died by crucifixion, not trance capture (Ra 17.17), and Ra places him now in positive fifth‑density study (Ra 17.21).
On the premise that polarity switches are hard (Textual, mixed):
- In principle, switching is easier for the strongly polarized: “This is incorrect. The further an entity has… polarized, the more easily this entity may change polarity, for the more power and awareness the entity will have” (Ra 19.18).
- In practice, it is slow after immersion. The displaced Wanderer’s path back is lengthy (Ra 69.11). Ra’s own two fallen Wanderers reversed polarity “with great effort” and had “a great deal of fourth‑density positive work then to be retraced” (Ra 89.41).
- For STS it is structurally forced only at sixth density, where love/light unity is “very, very difficult to achieve… when following the negative path” (Ra 36.12). About 2% of fourth‑density negatives switch to positive along the way (Ra 47.5).
Assessment of the hypothesis. If the hypothesis is that Jesus went into negative or lower realms and took on, or risked, a polarity switch as a hidden mission, the Law of One does not support it, and Ra’s metaphysics cuts against it. A strongly positive being in negative time/space “will experience only darkness… a barrier is automatically formed” (Ra 68.7). That is no setting for preaching. What can be supported:
- Textual: the Christian descent motif describes a positive being preaching to “spirits in prison” (1 Pet 3:19). Nothing in it implies a change of polarity.
- Inference: In Ra’s terms, those “spirits in prison” correspond best to Earth’s own inner planes, where, for example, the traumatized souls of Maldek were brought to “the lower astral planes where they could be nurtured until each… was able finally to be healed” (Ra 10.1) and where negatively oriented inner‑plane beings also dwell (Ra 12.14). They do not correspond to Orion’s fourth‑density negative time/space.
- Convergence (Inference): D&C 138:29–30 says Christ did not go personally among the wicked but organized righteous messengers. That fits Ra’s “barrier” principle (68.7) closely. Oahspe shows the same pattern again and again: hosts of ethereans descend into hells to deliver them, in light, without being changed by the darkness (“he descended into the four hells… taking three million angels to help him deliver them,” 20/37.10; see also 26/11.11–13). In all three systems, the rescuer of the lower realms descends as light and draws people out. He does not become dark in order to reach them.
My honest bottom line on (d): the descent‑to‑preach idea stands on firm scriptural ground and fits Oahspe beautifully. The polarity‑switch version is not in the Law of One. The Law of Confusion passage Lance probably has in mind (Ra 69.12) is about someone else.
(e) Are the late Oahspe “Jehovah’s Kingdom on Earth” chapters Orian‑sourced and STO?
Who speaks (Textual):
- Book 39 (Jehovah’s Kingdom on Earth): a narrator tells of Tae. Jehovah answers Tae directly (“Jehovah answered Tae, saying: Go, bring My people out of Uz,” 39/1.4). At the covenant, “the Voice descended upon Tae by entrancement, with the holy angels of the God of heaven and earth” (39/6.1). Book 37 adds that “the hosts of etherea ministered to Tae, and quickened him” (37/4.36). No Orian Chief is named in Book 39.
- Book 32 (Judgment): “the words of Judgment by the will of God, Jehovahs Son, as rendered by Es” (32/1.1). The speaker is “your elder brother of tens of thousands of years experience” (32/1.2).
- Book 33 (Discipline): “the word from the organic heaven… I am your brother, risen from mortality” (33/1.1–2).
- The setting: the Kosmon dawn in the Book of Es. “The Orian Chiefs of Huamat and Balis called… for ten million volunteers” to go to earth and “think for mortals; inspire them with holier thoughts” (29/3.1–2). “In four hundred years, the Fathers kingdom is to be founded on the red star” (29/3.6). Then: “Jehovahs Orian Chiefs from the emancipated heavens had come!” (29/16.3).
Judgment on source: Indirectly Orian, directly from the earth’s God and Jehovah’s Voice. The Kosmon dispensation that frames these books is shown as an Orian‑led etherean dawn. The books themselves speak in the voice of the earth’s (term‑limited, “elder brother”) God and of Jehovah through Tae, with etherean hosts in attendance. Calling them “Orian‑sourced” is a fair inference. Calling them “signed by Orian Chiefs” is not.
Judgment on polarity: Clearly STO by Ra’s criteria. The evidence:
- A voluntary covenant ending in “I covenant to be your equal and obedient servant” (39/6.46).
- No exclusive property: “I will not own or possess, exclusively to myself, anything” (39/5.24).
- No self‑praise (39/5.25).
- Children released into their own responsibility “as fully as I claim the same to my own self” (39/5.40).
- No dictator: “No man desires a leader or dictator over him” (39/3.68).
- Leaders held responsible for the shortness of the led (39/6.40).
- “To covet chieftainship would be selfish; to refuse chieftainship would be selfish” (39/7.23).
- Strong anti‑self warnings about angel contact: seeking angels “for profits sake” earns “drujas and vampire spirits” (32/1.11–15); “Judge yourself, O man, to know who and what angels attend you” (32/24.3); “it is only the subject uttered which is of value. In this day, all things shall stand on their own merit, and not on a supposed authority” (32/2.9).
One gentle correction. These structures are communal and consultative, but not “democratic” in the majority‑rule sense. Book 39 says plainly: “The highest wisdom in the state, or in a community, is not with the majority, but with a small minority” (39/6.29). Groups of ten choose a Chief, the Chiefs choose a Cchief (39/6.31–33), everyone speaks, and then “the Chief gives his highest light, which is the decree” (39/6.37). The model is the heavenly council (21/24.12) applied on earth: elected, accountable, consultative, but final authority rests with the chosen wisest. It is STO in spirit. It is not an STS hierarchy, but it isn’t a democracy either. (Historical side note, not from the texts: the real‑world Shalam colony near Las Cruces, New Mexico, which tried to live out Book 39, dissolved within about two decades. That is worth remembering when we move from scripture to practice.)
Part 4. Discernment principles: telling STO from STS sources and groups
- Does it wait to be asked, or does it push in? The Confederation answers a call. Orion “calls itself to conquest” (Ra 8.12).
- Fear and doom versus hope. “If there is fear and doom, the contact was quite likely of a negative nature. If the result is hope, friendly feelings, and the awakening of a positive feeling of purposeful service to others, the marks of Confederation contact are evident” (Ra 53.17).
- Elite versus everyone. Any teaching that makes you special, chosen and different “and better than other‑selves” is the classic opening for negative influence (Ra 18.21; 18.25; 24.6).
- “For your own good” dependency. Be wary of a source that teaches that others need its guidance and wisdom permanently (Ra 50.6).
- “Thou shalt not.” Commands backed by threat are uncharacteristic of a source aware of the Law of One (Ra 16.20). Positive sources persuade (D&C 121:41).
- Strictures plus worldly power. “Many strictures upon behavior and promised power of the third‑density” is Ra’s own profile of the negative contribution to Jesus’ downfall (Ra 17.17).
- Holy war. Sanctified violence against “the other” is a seriously distorted perception that Ra credits to Orion inroads (Ra 18.25). Oahspe’s false God commands it (25/16.21).
- Importance placed on specifics. “It is not the specificity of the information which attracts negative influences. It is the importance placed upon it” (Ra 26.36).
- The desire for proof. Channels “in the desire for proof, were open to the lying information of the crusaders” (Ra 12.15).
- Does it make itself unnecessary? Teaching hierarchies end in friendship and inheritance (John 15:15; Gal 4:7). Controlling ones never graduate anyone (Ra 50.6).
- Term limits and successors. Look for planned succession and fixed terms (Oahspe 04/7.14–15). Permanence is a red flag (25/12.6).
- Which way do souls flow? Upward and outward is STO (04/7.16). Retention and blocked exits are STS (25/8.43–45; 25/17.6).
- Who gets the glory? A true teacher redirects worship to the Creator (18/9.9; 25/14.27). A false one claims to be the All Highest (25/8.19).
- Loud names and borrowed titles. “They choose any name that will be flattering to mortals” (28/45.11). A prophet who boasts of a high angel “with a loud‑sounding name” is “in the hands of drujas” (32/25.11). The Council itself has no names (Ra 7.9).
- Content over credentials. “Only the subject uttered… is of value… not on a supposed authority” (Oahspe 32/2.9).
- Challenge the spirit. Carla’s method was “questioning spirits in the name of Christ.” A negative entity “was not able to answer” and left (Ra 89.2). Oahspe: “consider if his words are of God… if his words are not of God, you shall challenge him to prove himself” (24/10.10).
- Profit, glory, applause. “If man or angel says: Do this, and you shall have profit, or glory, or applause, || do not obey him, for he advises for yourself and not for the brotherhood of man” (Oahspe 24/10.6).
- Love that asks sacrifice of self. Believe spirits professing love only “when they teach you to sacrifice self for the good of others” (Oahspe 24/10.7).
- Seeking spirit contact for gain. Those who consult angels “for profits sake” attract “drujas and vampire spirits” and “lying spirits” (Oahspe 32/1.11–15).
- Does it leave room to say no? Jesus “spoke as through a veil so as to leave room for those not wishing to hear,” healed and said “Tell no one” (Ra 73.13).
- How does it treat its enemies? STO redeems and even employs former persecutors (Oahspe 29/16.5–7; 26/15.5). STS seeks “the removal of light” (Ra 62.20).
- Does power accumulate at the top? “To the stronger go the greater shares” (Ra 62.17); “any successes redound to the leaders” (Ra 62.20).
- Secrecy of design. Deyus “told no one… his designs” and passed as meek and holy (Oahspe 25/8.21). Open aims are a positive sign.
- Beauty is not proof. Fifth‑density negatives are “very fair to look upon” (Ra 62.21). Pageantry is not proof either (Oahspe 25/8.44, where the villains use pageantry as an argument).
- Cleverness that technically respects free will. “The entire hope of the Orion group is to infringe upon free will without losing polarity… if represented by a wise entity, attempts to be clever” (Ra 69.9).
- Pseudo‑positivity. Negative material can “ape positivity while retaining negative characteristics,” especially when received by a very positive person (Ra 16.15; 16.18).
- Sincerity is not enough. Ra’s own Wanderers turned negative while “glorifying the One Creator, but not as they intended,” through a “series of specific knowledges and wisdoms” (Ra 89.35).
- Institutional aggrandizement. Notice temptations toward “the aggrandizement of self or of social organizations with which the self identifies” (Ra 67.7).
- Doom messages through good people. Prophets can be “given mixed information” or polluted with “messages of doom” (Ra 24.14; 24.16).
- Fragmentation and infighting. STS groups disintegrate through “spiritual entropy” (Ra 7.15) and wage war among themselves (Oahspe 25/53.3). Long‑term harmony is a mark of STO.
- Is the heart center bypassed? Negative power runs red and orange/yellow straight to indigo, skipping green and blue (Ra 47.3–4). Watch for spiritual power without compassion or honest communication.
- Accountability runs downward. Positive leaders answer for their people (Oahspe 24/6.5; 39/6.40). Negative leaders make people answer to them.
- Service only for love. “No man shall serve another except for love, which shall be his only recompense” (Oahspe 25/17.7). Services traded for provision (“Serve me, and I will provide for you”) mark the self‑assuming Gods (25/17.7).
- Coercion and impressment. “So shall you not impress (force) into your service your brothers and sisters” (Oahspe 25/17.6). See also D&C 121:37 and 46, “without compulsory means.”
- Unarmed strength. Positive authority comes “unarmed” (Oahspe 18/3.8) and tells its friends to put away the sword (Ra 33.11).
- Humility of the highest. The highest Gods take menial labor (Oahspe 20/4.12), and “Ra is not elite” (Ra 64.8). Distrust a source that cannot stoop.
- Ambition for office. “To covet chieftainship would be selfish; to refuse chieftainship would be selfish” (Oahspe 39/7.23). Watch for both grasping and evasion.
- Fruits over time. In Ra, discernment is the effect on the heart of the encounter (Ra 53.17). In Oahspe, the sorting happens over cycles: “according to the seed sown so shall be the harvest” (25/14.24).
- Tuning and the questioner’s own state. Negative influence works “only through pre‑existing distortions” (Ra 57.3), and effectiveness depends on the attitude of the person (Ra 72.7). Self‑knowledge is a defense: “To know your self is to have the foundation upon firm ground” (Ra 35.4).
- Love sent outward depolarizes the negative. Sending “love and light” to a negative entity makes it lose polarity (Ra 67.26). A group whose answer to attack is love is showing STO structure.
Part 5. Where the texts do not support Lance’s premises (gently)
- “Some positive entities are associated with Orion” (Ra). I found no support in 131 Orion passages. Ra’s only geographic remark is that the Orion‑constellation complexes rule the negative alliance (Ra 62.16).
- “A Law of Confusion mystery about Jesus going into negative or lower inner planes.” It does not exist in the 106 sessions. The real passage is Ra 69.12: one unnamed Wanderer displaced into negative time/space, which Ra will not discuss “due to the Law of Confusion.” Ra places Jesus in positive fifth‑density study (Ra 17.21).
- “The Law of One describes polarity switches as difficult.” This is half‑right. Ra says the more polarized an entity is, the more easily it may change polarity (Ra 19.18). What is difficult is the long recovery after immersion in the other polarity (Ra 69.11; 89.41) and the sixth‑density negative’s struggle to reach love/light unity (Ra 36.12).
- “The loyal opposition.” The phrase does not appear in the Ra sessions. The closest is Ra’s description of the fifth‑density Orion entity as one “which seeks to be of service in its own way” (Ra 68.5), and Ra’s account of “two services offered, mutually rejected” (Ra 67.26).
- “Faithist communal democratic structures.” They are communal and consultative, but explicitly not majoritarian (Oahspe 39/6.29–37).
- Spelling. The edition on gatheredin.one uses “Jehovah,” not “Jehovih,” so the book title appears as “Jehovah’s Kingdom on Earth” (Book 39).
- Premises the texts do support: Orian Chiefs crowning Gods and Lords (05/1.12–20; 20/24.7); harvests to etherea at the end of each dan (04/7.16–19); the etherean hierarchy of etherean → Orian → Nirvanian → Oetan (20/17.8); Ra’s Orion pecking order, enslavement and “Crusaders” (Ra 11.18; 38.14; 62.16–20; 87.7); the sixth‑density STS→STO switch (Ra 36.12–15); and Ra’s “mixed” verdict on orthodox religion (Ra 60.18).
Appendix: core quotations (verbatim, as fetched)
- Ra 7.15: “There are a very few third density, a larger number of fourth density, a similarly large number of fifth density, and very few sixth‑density entities comprising this organization. Their numbers are perhaps one‑tenth ours… as the problem of spiritual entropy causes them to experience constant disintegration of their social memory complexes. Their power is the same as ours.”
- Ra 14.28: “This was transmitted by one of Confederation social memory complex status… All names can be taken to be created for their vibrational characteristics.”
- Ra 36.15: “The sixth‑density negative entity is extremely wise. It observes the spiritual entropy… consciously chooses an instantaneous energy reorientation so that it may continue its evolution.”
- Ra 60.18: “…each of your orthodox religious systems which have all become somewhat mixed in orientation, yet offer a pure path to the One Creator which is seen by the pure seeker.”
- Ra 62.16: “…those planetary social memory complexes of the so‑called Orion constellation have the upper hand and thus rule the other members. You must recall that in negative thinking there is always the pecking order.”
- Ra 69.12: “There has been only one. We cannot, due to the Law of Confusion, discuss the entity.”
- Oahspe 04/7.14: “And God and his Lords shall have dominion from two hundred years to a thousand or more years; but never more than three thousand years [a Dan].”
- Oahspe 20/4.13: “Shall the strong man forget he was once a child; can an Orian Chief forget he was once a slave; can he who is in the light forget those who are in the dark?”
- Oahspe 25/14.27: “For the God should not only be the greatest in his kingdom, but the most menial servant of his people; forever casting off responsibility, and forever urging his subjects not to idolize him, but Jehovah!”
- Oahspe 25/16.31: “…Baal, Ashtaroth, Foe‑be, Hes‑loo, He‑loo, Orion, Hebe and Valish.”
- Oahspe 28/45.11: “…they choose any name that will be flattering to mortals.”
- Oahspe 39/7.23: “To covet chieftainship would be selfish; to refuse chieftainship would be selfish.”
