Why the Giza Great Pyramid is a Mathematical Masterpiece (Pi, Phi & The Secrets Behind its Construction & Geometry)

The Great Pyramid is a Scaled Model of our Earth

If you multiply the Great pyramid’s dimensions by (43,200 or the number of seconds in a 1/2 day), you arrive at the dimensions of the Earth with startling accuracy. Evan more accurate is scaling by the number of square feet in an acre of 43,560, a number whose source has been lost to time, but undeniably is related to the same ancient concept of tying earth rotational speed (time) to distance (area).

Take the earth, chop it in half, set it on the ground and make the circle square but keep all the same dimensions… and you get the Great Pyramid. This angular structure can now be used to compute the size and distances of the moon, sun and stars with parallax, and an adjoining network of temples built at exactly the same latitude.

  1. The Height to Polar Radius: If you take the original height of the Great Pyramid (481.39 feet) and multiply it by 43,200, you get the polar radius of 3,938.6 miles. Using an acre 43,560 you get
    • The Reality: The actual Polar Radius of the Earth is approximately 3,949 miles. The margin of error is less than 0.3%
  2. The Perimeter to Equatorial Circumference: If you take the perimeter of the base (3,023.1 feet) and multiply it by 43,200, you get the equatorial circumference 24,734 miles.
    • The Reality: The actual Equatorial Circumference is approximately 24,901 miles. The margin of error is roughly 0.7%.

Some Background Information on Building of the Pyramid

Before detailing the math of how the Great pyramid models our earth, it may be helpful to first go through an overview of the history of the structures construction. The historical and esoteric records surrounding the construction of the Great Pyramid present a fascinating collision between classical historiography and modern metaphysical revelation. While the Greek historian Herodotus famously documented a labor force of 100,000 men and the use of ingenious “machines” made of short wooden planks to lift the stones, the Egyptian priest Manetho provided a chronological framework that linked these monuments to the “divine” dynasties of the Old Kingdom. In striking contrast, 19th-century channeled texts like the Oahspe describe the pyramid as a “Tabernacle of Knowledge” built through the intersection of mortal labor and celestial guidance, while the Law of One (The Ra Material) proposes a radical “thought-form” construction method, suggesting the stones were moved through the manipulation of gravity and vibration to create a healing prism for the planet. Together, these sources offer a spectrum of explanations—ranging from the purely mechanical to the hyper-dimensional—that frame the Great Pyramid not merely as a tomb, but as a sophisticated geodetic and spiritual instrument.

Down to the time when Rhampsinitos was king, they told me [Herodotus] there was in Egypt nothing but orderly rule, and Egypt prospered greatly; but after him Cheops became king over them and brought them to every kind of evil: for he shut up all the temples, and having first kept them from sacrifices there, he then bade all the Egyptians work for him. So some were appointed to draw stones from the stone-quarries in the Arabian mountains to the Nile, and others he ordered to receive the stones after they had been carried over the river in boats, and to draw them to those which are called the Libyan mountains; and they worked by a hundred thousand men at a time, for each three months continually. Of this oppression there passed ten years while the causeway was made by which they drew the stones, which causeway they built, and it is a work not much less, as it appears to me, than the pyramid…. (Herodotus, Histories)

This Cheops, the Egyptians said, reigned fifty years; and after he was dead his brother Chephren succeeded to the kingdom. This king followed the same manner of dealing as the other, both in all the rest and also in that he made a pyramid…. And Chephren they said reigned fifty and six years. Here then they reckon one hundred and six years, during which they say that there was nothing but evil for the Egyptians, and the temples were kept closed and not opened during all that time. These kings the Egyptians by reason of their hatred of them are not very willing to name; nay, they even call the pyramids after the name of Philitis the shepherd [kings?], who at that time pastured flocks in those regions…. (Herodotus, Histories)

Oahspe agrees largely with the writings of Herodotus and Menetho, however it adds an incredible amount of detail on the topic of the structures purpose as an astronomical observatory telling of how Cheops (named Thoth, after the Egyptian God in Oahspe) created settlements all over the world to take astronomical observations, and encased a library of the knowledge he gained in his near 100 year reign into the corner of the structure. (which will one day be found to prove the story true).

25/48.26. Osiris said: You shall build a Temple of Astronomy, and dedicate it to Osiris, Savior of men and angels, God of heaven and earth. And it shall be built square with the world, east and west and north and south. And the observing line shall be with the apex of the Hidan vortex, which lies in the median line of the variation of the north star (Tuax). 25/48.27. In the form of a pyramid you shall build it; I will show you every part, measure for measure. 25/48.28. And you shall provide such thickness of walls that no sound, heat, or cold can enter it; and yet, you shall provide chambers within… and my angels shall come and dwell for a season on the earth, and my earth-born shall go and dwell for a season in heaven; yes, they shall come to me on my throne and see the glories I have prepared for them. 25/48.29. Nor shall my temple be exclusive, but open to all who will pursue the philosophies of earth and heaven. For which reason you shall build it with [encodes scales of] the sun, moon and stars; and it shall be a testimony to the nations of the earth that you are the highest of all mortals, and first founder of everlasting life in the flesh. For as the angels of heaven can return to the earth and take upon themselves corporeal bodies for a season… (Oahspe, Book of Wars)

Oahspe goes on to tell many details concerning the manner of construction and measurements. It introduces us to an unknown measurement called a ‘length’ as in the height/length of a man. Given Old Kingdom mummies we can assume it to be around 5”4″-5’6″, which if we assume a cubit was 1/3 this length, since most cubits from tombs measure 20.3-22 inches then the length can be assumed to be 61″- 66″ inches or 5’1″ to 5’6″. Which given the length of the ramp in the next section, both work.

25/49.15. These were the instruments used by the king and his workmen: the gau, the length, the square, the compass, and the plumb and line. Nor were there any other instruments of measure or observation used in the entire building of the temple. And as to the measure called a length [cubit], it was the average length of a man [height: 5”1″-5’6″ or 3 cubits], after measuring one thousand men. This length was divided into twelve parts, and these parts again into twelve parts, and so on. 25/49.20. Jehovah had said: Suffer them to build this, for the time of the building is midway between the ends of the earth [12k/24K Precession/Disaster Cycle]; and now is the extreme of the earth’s corporeal growth; so let it stand as a monument of the greatest corporeal aspiration of man. [2kBC-6k=8kBC, 2kBC+6k=4kAD]

It also details not only the astronomical purposes of the Obelisk’s but also talks of lenses which they used to observe the sun and stars, as well as the global network of colonies built as astronomical observatories.

25/50.16. Thothma built a column to the east line of the slat, seven lengths, and the height was thirty‑six lengths [198-215 ft]; of wood and stone he built it, with an opening from the bottom to the top, and the width of the opening was six lengths. In its walls was a winding stairway, and there were windows looking out to the east and west and north and south, so that the stars from every quarter could be observed. On the summit of the column were dwelling‑places for the seers and mathematicians, with places for the measuring instruments and lenses.
25/50.17. When this was completed, Thothma built an external wall of wood and stone across the slat of the temple; and within this wall were stairs also, and these led to the top of the pyramid. This wall was also provided with windows, so that the northern stars could be observed.
25/50.18. Thothma made an observing column for the sun, and it was provided with lenses of all colors [spectrohelioscope], so that adepts standing at the base of the pyramid could see the sun at every hour of the day, and distinguish the spots and their changes. A gau was set within each of the angles of observation [angled gap used as theodolite], so that the position of the sun relative to the northern stars could be determined every day.
25/50.19. By using these two columns, therefore, Thothma and his mathematicians measured the sun, moon and stars as to their distances and sizes. And Osiris commanded the king to send his wisest mathematicians into the distant lands of the earth, to observe the winds of heaven, and the drought upon the earth; and the abundance of the yield of the earth in different regions, in different years and seasons; and to observe famines and pestilences, and all types of occurrences on the face of the earth. He said to the king: When your mathematicians have returned to you with their accumulated wisdom, you, or your successor, shall examine the sun, stars and moon, and compare them to the things that the mathematicians shall relate, one year with another; and three years with another three years, and five with five, and seven with seven, and so on for hundreds of years, and thousands of years.
25/50.20. And when you have taken in the term of three thousand three hundred years, and compared the sun, moon and stars, as relate to the occurrences of the earth, you shall have the key of prophecy for three thousand three hundred years ahead. And you shall say of this land and of that land; and of this people and that people, how it will be with them, and you shall not err.

Oahspe also tells in detail, about the base-11 calendar that the Egyptians at this time used. Which as we’ll see is incredibly important, as it helps us make better sense of some of the fractions and measurements of the Great Pyramid later in this article.

27/14.4. For events of prophecy there was also another calendar, called the ode, signifying sky‑time, or heavenly times. One ode was equivalent to eleven long years; three odes, one spell, signifying a generation; eleven spells, one Tuff. Thothma, the learned man, and builder of the great pyramid, had said: As a diameter is to a circle, and as a circle is to a diameter, so are the rules of the seasons of the earth. For the heat or the cold, or the drought or the wet, no matter which, the sum of one eleven years is equivalent to the sum of another eleven years [a solar cycle]. One spell is equivalent to the next eleventh spell. And one cycle matches every eleventh cycle. Whoever will apply these rules to the earth shall prophesy truly regarding drought, famine and pestilence, except where man contravenes by draining or irrigation. And if he applies himself to find the light and the darkness of the earth, these rules are sufficient. For as there are three hundred and sixty‑three years in one tuff, so are there three hundred and sixty‑three days in one year, besides the two days and a quarter when the sun stands still on the north and south lines.

Oahspe teaches that the Egyptians of the Old Kingdom used a different base-11 calendar where there were 11 months called Tuffs with 3 weeks called Spells, and 11 days called Odes. Later in this article we’ll see how using base-11 systems makes computing pyramid numbers work out better.

Lastly we learn that Thothma/Hojax hid up a library containing all the knowledge he gathered during his life and hid it in the corner of the Great Pyramid.

25/50.24. And Thothma had these things rewritten and condensed into books, and named them books of great learning, and they were deposited within the south chamber of the pyramid, where harm could never come to them. 25/50.25. And Thothma made it a law, that other mathematicians should travel over the same regions for another sixteen years and make similar observations; and after them, yet other mathematicians to succeed them, and so on for three thousand three hundred years. And accordingly, a new expedition started out. Now during the absence of the first mathematicians, Thothma and his philosophers observed the sun, moon and stars every day, and a record was made as to their places and movements, and as to occurrences on the earth in the regions of Thothma’s home kingdom. And these observations were reduced to tablets and maps, and a record made of them in the Persian language, which was the language of the learned. For the Egyptian language of that day was spoken mostly by the unlearned, and was mixed with the Phoenician, a language of sounds. 25/50.26. After the mathematicians returned, Thothma and his philosophers examined the whole matter as compared with the maps and tablets of the heavens, and the facts deduced from these comparisons were written in a separate book and called The Philosophies of God and His Son Thothma, King of Earth! 25/50.27. Copies of this book were made and sent into the lands of Arabia/Africa, India, Japheth, Persia, Heleste and Europe, to the priests of God, but the original book was filed in the Holy Chamber, in the Temple of Osiris.

Lastly we learn something of the techniques that so many have debated on concerning the manner of construction. Oahspe teaches (as Herodotus corroborates), that canals, ramps, rollers and capstans were used.

Hojx… impressed two hundred thousand [200,000] men and women in the building of it, of which number more than one‑half were Faithists [those who refused obeisance to state religion]. And these laborers were divided into groups of twelves and twenty‑fours and forty‑eights, and so on, and each group had a captain; but for series of groups of one thousand seven hundred and twenty‑eight [1,728] men and women, there were generals, and for every six generals there was one marshal [over 10,368], and for every twelve marshals there was one chief [over 124,416]… 25/49.9. And the king allotted… some to dig canals, some to quarry stone, and some to hew the stones; some to build boats, some to provide rollers, and others timbers, and yet others capstans… 25/49.11. And as for the logs used in building, they were brought down the waters of Egon, from the forests of Gambotha and Rugzak. These logs were tied together and floated on the water… where, by means of capstans, they were drawn out of the water ready for use. 25/49.12. Now the stones of the temple …were placed on slides by capstans, and then, by capstans, let down the mountainsides, to the water, upon which they were to float to the place required for them. 25/49.13. The floats were made of boards sawed by men skilled… and were of sufficient length and width to carry the burden they were designed for. And at the bottom of the floats were rollers, gudgeoned [socketed] at the ends. …ropes, made of hemp and flax, were fastened to the float, and by means of capstans on the land, the float was drawn up an inclined plane out of the water, the rollers of the float answering as wheels.

Capstans (like Oahspe says were used to lift the blocks) have been used for thousands of years to lift incredible weights. They are superior to pullies and windlasses, Romans being able to lift weights up to 100 tons. Most the pyramids stones are ~2 tons requiring only 1 capstan and a few burrows. The largest ‘chamber stones’ of up to ~70 tons would require dozens of capstans and hundreds of animals (or dozens of elephants).

The last detail from Oahspe we will cover here is the nature of the ramps, as many have suggested assorted layouts. Oahspe suggests there was only one single inclined plane, the width of the pyramid, made of wood. This is also our best indication that a ‘length’ is NOT a cubit but literally about the length or height of a man, which we can assume from mummies was around 5’1″ to 5’6″, which when times by 440 as the text says, gets us a plane about the length of what it would take to get to river elevation of 65′ above sea level. (2236 to 2420 feet, both of which work given the elevations).

25/49.16. After the first part of the temple was laid, the builders of the inclined plane began to build it also, but it was built of logs. And when it was raised a little, another layer of the temple was built; then again the inclined plane was built higher, and another layer of the temple built; and so on. Thus the inclined plane, which was made of wood, was built up as the temple increased in height. 25/49.17. The width of the inclined plane was the same as the width of the temple, but the whole length of the inclined plane was four hundred and forty lengths (of a man [or about 2400-2600 ft]). The floats carrying the stones were drawn up this inclined plane by means of capstans, and by men and women directly pulling also. 25/49.18. Thothma spent twenty-four years building the temple; and then it was completed. But it required another half a year to take away the inclined plane used in building it.

Math of the Great Pyramid

Why the Number 43,200?

Graham Hancock (following the work of Santillana and von Dechend in Hamlet’s Mill) points out that 43,200 is “precessional code.” For 72 years (1° of precessional drift) x 600.

By choosing 43,200, the architects were essentially telling the observer: “We know exactly how big the Earth is, and we know exactly how slow its axis wobbles.”

What he misses, is that its actually the number of seconds in a 1/2 day or 12 hours, AND its the inches the ancients were using in the height. NOT the feet (as you’ll see below). So first we convert 43,200 to feet by /12 = 3600 OR 360° x 12 months x 10 scale factor = 43,200.

The “Squaring of the Circle”

This coincidence also allows the Pyramid to “square the circle” physically. Because the height of the pyramid has the same relationship to its peri24,tively maps the spherical Earth onto a four-sided monument. [add details and diagram]

The Egyptian Royal Cubit (as defined by many ancient texts, pyramid stone heights and actual rods found in tombs was defined as 1/12th the circumference of a circle with a radius of 1. (exactly the same as the definition to a modern meter, which is 1/10k the distance of equator to north pole. Equal to 20.61 inches)

Mile, Furlong & Inch Relationship to Pyramids and Latitude of Giza!

Diameter of earth (7,920 miles) = 1 Furlong (7,920 inches)!
–(So a Furlong is a scaled version of earth’s diameter.
Diameter of earth in miles (24,881) = ~length of precession in years AND ~light years to galactic core.

To understand WHY this is… you need to understand how a mile is derived from a nautical mile! (this is a secret I figured out, that is probably known, but I’ve never read ANYWHERE ELSE.

1 Nautical mile IS (or 1.15 miles/6k ft) = 1° arc minute of latitude or 1/60°th arc degree. or 1/360/60 circumference.
~1 mile = 1° arc degree (at 60 knots you travel 1 degree per hour or 60 n. miles)
1 knot = 1 nautical mile/hour (1 knot = 1.15 mph)

1 Nautical mile = 1 arc minute of latitude (distance traveling north to south)
1 arc minute of longitude (distance traveling east to west) = 1 n. mile ONLY AT EQUATOR. (at poles its zero)

So a nautical mile is derived from the circumference of the earth and is crucial for ocean navigation. And this is 100% common knowledge. What isn’t common knowledge is how the imperial/statute mile is derived from the nautical mile.

So for east/west travel, ONE arc minute is a nautical mile at the equator. And it’s ZERO at the poles (because longitude lines converge). So it’s a given that AT SOME LATITUDE an imperial mile (which is less than a nautical mile) will be ONE arc minute. And what is that latitude that 5280 feet equals one arc minute? (1/360th of east/west travel). ITS AT 29° degrees latitude. GUESS WHAT ANCIENT CAPITAL SITS AT 29° DEGREES LATITUDE?!!! GIZA!!!! (more perfectly, the Medium pyramid built before Giza.)

Do you see how insane that is?! It proves the imperial/statute mile is not random, but DERIVED AT GIZA!

ONE MILE = ONE ARC MINUTE OF LATITUDE AT 29° DEGREES LATITUDE. (5280ft)

So now we have the derivation of the mile. What about the foot/inch? We already said 1/8 mile (furlong) is = diameter of earth in inches. Diameter of earth (7,920 miles) = 1 Furlong (7,920 inches). But this is only part of the puzzle. More importantly, the perimeter of the Great Pyramid is ~3,024 feet (755-756′ on each end). One half of one minute of latitude at the equator is 3,038 feet. Essentially identical. (the 12′ difference is equivalent to a high tide or variations in equatorial bulge).

WHICH is the same as 1/2 nautical mile – perimeter of the great pyramid.

Also, as mentioned the diameter of the earth = inches in 1/8 mile (7,920). So it follows that the origin of what we call the British inch was an ancient geodetic measurement, a 250 millionth part of the earth’s radius, just as the meter is a modern attempt at being a 40 millionth part of the earth’s circumference. (Earth radius = 3,959 miles = 251 million inches). But more usefully, the numbers 7,920 (Earth’s diameter in miles) and 5,280 (feet in a mile) share a specific ratio (1.5x) that allows the Earth’s dimensions to be expressed in “round” feet. .

  • The Ratio: 7,920 \ 5,280 = 1.5 exactly.
  • This means the diameter of the Earth is EXACTLY 1.5 times 5,280 in units of 1,000.
  • In Feet: The diameter of the Earth is 41,817,600 feet. (or 1.5 x mile x 1000 in feet)
  • This 1500 feet is ALSO the spin of the earth in ONE second! (at the equator). THIS IS THE CONNECTION.
  • If you use a “Geodetic Foot,” then 6,000 feet (length of nautical mile is 6,076) = 1 minute of arc

ENGLISH FOOT IS TIED TO NAUTICAL MILE. OR 1 ARC MINUTE AT EQUATOR/60/60/PHI
IT IS ALSO 1/1.5 THE DIAMETER OF THE EARTH.

FURLONGS, RODS AND CHAINS ARE ALL BASED ON THAT NUMBER.

In 72 years, earth moves ONE° degree through the equinox precession. BUT USING PROJECTED CALENDAR..
In 70.3 years earth moves ONE day (365.24 degrees instead of 360). So ONE DAY = ???

The Sun moves eastward along the ecliptic (its apparent yearly path) at an average of ~0.986° per day relative to the fixed stars (360° / 365.25 days).

So if we wanted to create a building at the scale of the earth, where ONE FOOT = ONE DEGREE IN THE SKY.
Or in other words create a building with a circumference matching the earth (with one foot=one mile). Where the length of the diameter of the circle foundation, or length of the square foundation within the circle, where a person standing in the middle of it would see the sun move ONE FOOT along the horizon per day. (with The Sun moving eastward along the ecliptic (its apparent yearly path) at an average of ~0.986° per day). That is, if we put a pole in the middle of the building, and a pole on the edge of the building or circle and then put a second pole after a day marking where the sun set (making a triangle of three poles), what length would we want the center and edge to be apart (hypotenuse) in order to make the length opposite the hypotenuse exactly one foot?

ANSWER: 58.11 Feet (radius of circle, hypotenuse of triangle, or half length of square foundation). And here’s the CRAZY PART! If instead of going laterally, we built this vertically as a pyramid with a one foot hole to mark celestial motion; THE GREAT PYRAMID WOULD BE A 100X SCALE! (using inches instead of feet) The Giza pyramid is 5811 inches high! (58.11×100=5811)

So …. what is a foot? what is an inch?

88 feet is exactly 4 Rods (or 1.33 Gunter’s Chains) WHICH IS EXACTLY ONE arc SECOND (1/60th arc minute)
ROD = 1/320 mile, 1/4 chain, 16.5 feet, 5.5 yards. 88×60=5280

The radius of a circle is one meter, then the length of the arc of 1/12 (one twelfth) of that circle equals .523591 meters. (EXACTLY ONE royal cubit).

This is one of the most compelling “numerical coincidences” in historical metrology. When you calculate the arc of 30^\circ (which is 1/12 of a circle) with a radius of 1 meter, the result is exactly the value often cited for the Egyptian Royal Cubit.

The math is straightforward:

$$\text{Arc Length} = \frac{1}{12} x (2\pi r) = \frac{2\pi(1)}{12} = \frac{\pi}{6} \approx 0.523598 \text{ meters.}

This value is functionally identical to the Royal Cubit found in the Great Pyramid (0.523 to 0.524 m). Here is how that relationship bridges the ancient and modern worlds.


1. The Meter: Diameter vs. Quarter Circumference

The metric system was originally defined during the French Revolution as 1/10,000,000 of the distance from the Equator to the North Pole (the “meridian quadrant”).

  • The Relationship: The meter is fundamentally a measurement of the Earth’s quarter-circumference.
  • The Diameter Connection: Because the circumference is C = \pi d, the meter also indirectly relates to the Earth’s diameter. If the Earth were a perfect sphere, its diameter would be approximately 12,732,395 meters.

2. Did the Egyptians use the Meter?

There is no direct archaeological evidence that the Egyptians had a physical “meter” stick. However, they almost certainly used the same geodetic ratios that the meter is based on.

If you take a circle with a circumference equal to the Earth’s polar circumference and divide it by certain harmonic numbers (like 12,360, \text{ or } 43,200), you arrive at units that correlate with the cubit and the meter.

3. The Ratio: pi/6 and the Hexagon

The relationship you found suggest that the Egyptians derived their cubit from a Hexagonal Geometry (1/6 of a circle) applied to a Metric standard.

  • If the radius is 1 unit (a meter), then the Royal Cubit is simply pi/6.
  • This implies the Egyptians knew the ratio between the radius (linear distance from center to surface) and the arc (surface distance).

The Secret Link: If the Egyptians were using a system where the Royal Cubit was pi/6 meters, it means they were effectively using Radian-based math thousands of years before the Greeks.


4. Earth Ratios: Diameter vs. Circumference

The most popular theory among metrologists (like John Michell or Robin Heath) is that the Egyptians used a ratio of 1:43,200.

  • The Great Pyramid’s perimeter is almost exactly 1/43,200 of the Earth’s equatorial circumference.
  • The Great Pyramid’s height is almost exactly 1/43,200 of the Earth’s polar radius.
